Which mobile number should I insert?

The airlines would like to get in touch with their passengers in case of delays, so it is important that it is the traveler’s mobile number that is inserted. You can insert this in your profile.

How should I insert the mobile number?

The mobile number must be inserted without any spaces, e.g.: +299123456 or +4512345678.

Booking of travel from Greenland to abroad

When you are booking a trip from Greenland to another country beside Denmark and Iceland, you must do this in separate steps, as not all airlines has ticketing agreements. You cannot make a search on Nuuk – New York, as Air Greenland does not have ticketing agreement with all airlines, especially not on the cheapest ticket types.

*   Nuuk – Copenhagen – Nuuk, when booking, choose ”Add flight” before adding the next trip

Seat reservation

You can choose your seat when booking, but please notice that some airlines might charge extra for this.

Special meals

You are able to prebook special meals, such as vegetarian meals, gluten-free or lactose-free meals on Air Greenland flights if you are allergic. You can also insert this into your profile, so it is always added when you book, but please notice that different airlines can have different options.

When is the ticket issued?

Tickets are issued automatically every half hour, so you can book any time of the day and year.
